Decitabine for Injection

Decitabine for injection is a medication used in the treatment of certain types of blood cancers, particularly myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), a group of disorders where the bone marrow does not produce enough healthy blood cells. It’s also used in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

Decitabine is classified as a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor. It works by interfering with the growth and spread of cancer cells by incorporating itself into the DNA of the cancer cells, leading to their death.
