Dorzolamide Hydrochloride and Timolol Maleate Opthalmic Solution, USP

Dorzolamide hydrochloride and timolol maleate ophthalmic solution, USP, is a prescription eye drop medication used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in individuals with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma.

Dorzolamide hydrochloride is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, and timolol maleate is a beta-blocker. The combination works to lower intraocular pressure by reducing the production of aqueous humor (the fluid in the eye) and increasing its outflow.
